Minimally-Invasive & Preventive Dentist
Andrea Bernhardt, DDS
Dr. Andrea Bernhardt is a dedicated minimally invasive and preventive dentist. An Orange County native, she was passionate about dentistry from a young age, growing up in her mom's dental office and starting dental school at just 18. Her journey took her to León, Guanajuato, Mexico, where she had the enriching experience of studying abroad for four years and completing a one-year residency in a rural community. This hands-on experience deepened her bilingual skills in English and Spanish, ensuring she can communicate clearly and comfortably with a diverse range of patients.
Her philosophy centers around easing dental anxiety through genuine human connection and creating a nurturing, calm environment for all of her patients. She is committed to providing honest, compassionate, and effective care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys a balanced lifestyle that blends her passion for nature and the outdoors—through hiking, camping, foraging, bird watching, and gardening—with her enthusiasm for socializing and creating memories. She loves bringing people together by hosting gatherings, going dancing, and being crafty.

What to Expect
The Experience
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
You’ll receive full-mouth digital X-rays, an extraoral head and neck exam, an intraoral soft tissue exam, and a comprehensive 3D wellness scan, and Dr. Bernhardt will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you'll receive a professional cleaning. If anything needs extra attention, Dr. Bernhardt will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and she will describe any further treatment recommendations, and you’ll be able to schedule your next appointment in the front office.

How We Help
Recycle On Us
At Agapé Smile Spa, we're committed to creating positive impact beyond your dental care. As part of our sustainability efforts, we've partnered with Crest and Oral-B's Recycle On Us program to help reduce oral care waste in our community. You can drop off your used oral care products at our office—including plastic toothbrushes, toothbrush head refills, toothpaste tubes, mouthwash containers, floss containers, and floss picks. We'll ensure these items are properly recycled and transformed into useful items like park benches, clothing, and more. Together, we can make small actions count toward a healthier planet while maintaining your healthy smile!
